The Different Get Rich Quick Schemes

If you are trying to find ways on how to earn money online you might have run into get rich quick schemes websites with sales pitch something like “with little skill or no effort make $$$$ in days”. Truth is those sites are likely scams using unethical methods, these types of scams are so massive and prevalent ranging from secret methods, product selling, online investments, pyramiding and etc. Since year 2000 these types of schemes have existed, FTC has come up with the biggest international law enforcement project to fight these types of fraud in the internet.

Those new to the internet and not that savvy, new comers who wants to earn online, people who wants to work at home, novice investors, people looking to supplement their income or hear stories that you can get rich quick in the internet are often times the target victims. In reality the answer is that there is no quick method to get rich online. Earning money online requires hard work, thorough planning, dedication and a lot patience. I’m not generalizing that all these types of get rich quick schemes that exist on the internet are scams but how can you tell or differentiate from the legit to the illegitimate, ask yourself this simple question “Is the offer too good to be true? ” if it is then it must be a scam.

Here are some examples of typical get rich quick schemes you should be aware of so you can avoid them.
1. One page website from experts – I haven’t found a term on how these types of schemes are categorized yet but they are growing in number. It typically consist of a one page website, the author claims she/he is an expert on making money online and can teach you the “secret method” to earn $$$$ in just a few days. It is designed as a one page website with no menus to avoid clicking away from the site. The author has some unknown testimonials from supposed users of the secret method, either they bought their DVD, books, learning kits, manual etc.. main intention is to lure you to buy their secret method, program, books, DVDs, training kits etc. I actually found a parody site who catches all the details on how these types of schemes tries to get your attention, check it out I found it entertaining.

Depending on what that “secret method” is from the one page website, because you never know until you purchase the program, kit or whatever, it can be any of the following other scams below.

2. Pyramid scams- involves selling almost about anything from items products, secret methods, ideas, discounts, program, gold, currency etc. Example the seller finds 4 people to sell the “item” for fix amount. The 4 people each then looks for 4 other people to sell to. The original seller to the 4 people gets a commission fee and sometimes may go further up to the upline. These branching out and selling goes on and on until there is too many people in the system it collapses.

This type of pyramiding exist for so long and is the most common, it’s just the item involved in selling that changes and the sales pitch gets more and more creative. Gift programs, illegal matrix, MLM schemes(some though are claiming to be legit)

3. Ponzi scams- this one I have been a victim of when I was a bit naive and eager to invest back then, that francswiss mess is still fresh in my mind. This scheme involves investing money that offer high interest returns which also plays with your psyche on greediness, similar to the pyramid scam but has no direct selling but more on recruiting investors. Basically you invest your money on the sytem and it will earn interest for a certain period of time, the owner of the system could claim it would be used for systematized sports betting, real estate investments, stocks etc.. just to appear legit to the investor to lure them how there money would earn with them. There will be payout in the early days, months or years depending on how long the scam survives, you can either reinvest the money or add more money as it plays with your greed when you can see that the money is earning on the system on such a small period of time, it also works well for there is a referral commission for recruiting new investors. The owner of the scam has no legit investments, it only reuses the same money from new investors recruited to pay off the interest. There is no telling when the payout would stops, either owner has been caught or has already fled with your money. Friends and families you recruited to the system will blame you, you blame the one who recruited you etc.. It’s really a big mess when the scam suddenly stops.

4. HYIP scams – High Yield Investing Programs is sort of variation of the Ponzi, you invest money on a system that they use for other smart investing. There are some legit but be cautious with high interest rate returns on short amount of time, read all the details and terms and the risk involved. Then ask yourself the simple question. Is it good to be true?

5. Work at Home scams- earlier times typical scams targets are house wifes for data entry jobs, typing jobs, etc and now there is a growing variations. Targeting even professionals like virtual assistant, call center agents, medical transcriptionist, content writer and tutors, etc.. which may sound legit at first but when asked that you purchase their training kit, software or manuals, subscribe to a one time fee. Be cautious with dealing with this types of job offers for they can likely be scams.

We barely touched the different types of get rich quick scams and schemes but most of these are variations of each other. The different variations and creativity on where they are used is massive and we can only advise that you be cautious, if you want to gamble on get rich quick schemes be sure that the money is something you are willing to lose.

Again, earning money online requires hard work, thorough planning, dedication and a lot patience. There is no sure method for a get rich quick online with no risk involved or it being likely scam.
